Vancouver Whitecaps FC will soon learn their group for the 2016-17 CONCACAF Champions League.
CONCACAF announced on Monday details for the draw of the upcoming edition of the tournament. The draw will take place on Monday, May 30 at 5 p.m. PT in Miami Beach, Florida, and will be streamed live worldwide on the official CONCACAF Facebook page.
Whitecaps FC have been slotted into Pot 2. They will be grouped with either a Mexican Liga MX side or American MLS side from Pot 3, and a team from Pot 1 that could be from Belize, Trinidad and Tobago, Haiti, Nicaragua, El Salvador, or the second qualifier from Panama.
