LOS ANGELES, CA – Vancouver Whitecaps FC played to a 0-0 draw against LA Galaxy in their first of three preseason matches in Los Angeles on Saturday.
Head coach Marc Dos Santos made only one change to his starting lineup from the previous preseason match in Hawaii, as Jake Nerwinski came in for Scott Sutter at right back. New signings Érik Godoy, Inbeom Hwang, and Jasser Khmiri joined the team in LA but did not dress for Saturday’s scrimmage.
After a scoreless first half, goalkeeper Maxime Crepeau came up with a good diving save to keep the match scoreless in the 52nd minute.
