VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC have launched the club’s fifth annual #BuckUp for Mental Health fundraising campaign in support of Covenant House Vancouver.
This year, the ‘Caps are aiming to raise $100,000 for mental health programs for homeless and at-risk youth. To kick-start efforts, Whitecaps FC have already contributed a $25,000 donation to the campaign.
The campaign culminates at the ‘Caps match on Saturday, June 9 when Whitecaps FC take on Orlando City SC at BC Place where fans are encouraged to bring their “bucks” to help the cause!
Since 2014, the #BuckUp campaign has raised more than $160,000 for mental health programs.
