VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC are in full support of Doctors of BC, as well as the federal, provincial, and municipal governments in urgently asking that all members of the public stay at home to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
“We are united with our medical professionals and government in conveying this important message to the public. British Columbia is coming to a tipping point, and every individual needs to take responsibility and do their part,” noted Dr. Jim Bovard, Whitecaps FC chief medical officer. “Please remain at home unless it is absolutely necessary to meet an essential need, and in that case please take the utmost caution in using physical distancing.
