VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced on Monday that the club has signed midfielder Deybi Flores to a multi-year contract after finalizing his transfer from Honduran side Club Deportivo Motagua. Flores was originally acquired by Whitecaps FC on a one-year loan from CD Motagua in February. Per MLS and club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

- Earned his first senior international call-up to Honduras for friendly versus Cuba in December
- Played full 90 minutes in all three matches for Honduras at the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup
“Deybi showed flashes of promise in his first year in MLS,” said Whitecaps FC head coach Carl Robinson.
