Continuing their four game road trip, Whitecaps FC 2 (8W-2L-5D) hope to get retribution against Real Monarchs SLC (5W-8L-4D) when they visit the Salt Lake City side on Saturday. The Monarchs dealt WFC2 their first loss of the season in the last second of their June 4 match at Thunderbird Stadium.
BOYS ON THE BACK LINE
After missing his first match of the season, centre back Sem de Wit (right) rejoined the WFC2 lineup last Saturday. The Dutch defender has played in all but one of Whitecaps FC 2’s 15 matches this season, leading the team from the back line alongside the likes of Cole Seiler, Jackson Farmer, and Elliot Green.
