In 2015, WFC2 finished their inagural USL season with an 11th place Western Conference finish, obviously missing the post-season. Now, just one season later, they’re heading to the Western Conference Semi-Finals after a gutsy come back win over the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC.
The final score at Switchbacks Stadium on Friday night was 2-1, with the Whitecaps getting goals from Captain Kyle Greig and from Kianz Froese.
WFC2 head coach went with a starting 11 made up of Spencer Richey in net, with Kadin Chung, Sem De Wit, Cole Seiler and Brett Levis getting the start on the backline.
