BURNABY, BC – Whitecaps FC 2 (WFC2) continued their preseason on Sunday with their first friendly match against USL opposition. The ‘Caps took on Canadian rivals Toronto FC II at Simon Fraser University, battling to a 1-1 draw.
Head coach Alan Koch fielded a lineup with seven Canadians included. The lineup also featured four first team players, including first round SuperDraft pick Cole Seiler, and midfielders Erik Hurtado, Nicolas Mezquida, and Marco Bustos.
