Waston, Bolaños called up to Costa Rica for friendlies versus Spain and Hungary

VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC confirmed on Friday that centre back Kendall Waston and midfielder Christian Bolaños have been called up to the Costa Rican national team for their upcoming international friendlies against Spain and Hungary.

The Ticos make the trip to Malaga, Spain on November 11, and Budapest, Hungary three days later.

The matches will serve as a tuneup for Costa Rica, who qualified for the 2018 FIFA World Cup this past October.
