The Philadelphia Union hadn't lost at home in 2016, until the Vancouver Whitecaps came knocking. The Whitecaps used goals from Andrew Jacobson, Kekuta Manneh and Christian Bolanos in a 3-2 win over the Philadelphia Union on Saturday night. The Union had been riding a 6-0-2 record at home and had only given up sixteen goals in 14 matches this season, but the visiting Whitecaps were able to solve them for their third road victory of the season.
Nine changes were made from the Whitecaps starting 11 against Toronto FC on Tuesday, with Pedro Morales and Christian Bolanos serving as the only hold-overs.
