Much has been made about the Vancouver Whitecaps and their inability to sign a DP striker as we progress towards the season. If Alphonso Davies and Kekuta Manneh continue to play like they did on Thursday, it might not be a problem.
Manneh had three assists and Davies scored twice as the Whitecaps finished up their UK, pre-season adventure with a 4-0 victory over the Bristol City FC U23 squad. Head Coach Carl Robinson went for the same starting lineup for the third straight match, including David Ousted in net, Tim Parker and Christian Dean partnering at Center Back, and Jacob Nerwinski and Jordan Harvey taking the wings.
