The Vancouver Whitecaps added some depth to one of their biggest roster needs on Tuesday, by acquiring Right Back Sheanon Williams from the Houston Dynamo. Heading back the other way is General Allocation Money, according to WhitecapsFC.com.
He’s younger, at just 26 years old, and he’s been in MLS since 2010, so he obviously knows the league quite well. The Boston, Massachusetts native began his career with The Phildelphia Union before moving to Houston midway through the 2015 season. Last year, he contributed one assist in 20 matches started, and appearances in 22 matches overall. He’s also been to the post-season once, in the 2011 season with Philly.
