Canada Soccer announced on Monday that three players from the Vancouver Whitecaps FC Girls Elite BC Soccer REX program and four players from provincial partners have been called up to a U-15 National EXCEL Camp in Burnaby, BC from April 3 to 9.
The three `Caps BC REX players are Joanna Verzosa-Dolezal, Daniela Ramirez, and Omeha Sandhu. Also called up are Hannah Duguid, Allison Remington, and Grace Stordy from the Whitecaps FC Alberta South REX program, and Taylor Sousa from the Whitecaps FC Manitoab REX program.
“As part of our National EXCEL 14-17 program, these U-15 camps focus on players that demonstrate long term future potential in our system, with the majority of these players coming from the EXCEL identification camps held in both the East and West regions,” said Bev Priestman, Canada Soccer’s National EXCEL director.
