Whitecaps FC Residency striker Theo Bair scored Canada's only goal in a 1-1 draw with Japan in their final group match at the 2018 Toulon Tournament. The play was set up by fellow Residency product Noah Verhoeven, who was coming off of a winning goal in the previous match against Turkey.
Bair and Verhoeven both started the match, along with midfielder David Norman Jr. from the 'Caps first team.
The result sees Canada finish one point behind Turkey in Group C, as they now move on to face France in the classification round for fifth place.
