TUKWILA, WA – Irvin Parra, Zach Mathers, and Felix Chenkam scored to give Seattle Sounders FC 2 a 3-0 victory over Whitecaps FC 2 in a Cascadia clash at Starfire Sports Complex on Sunday evening.
WFC2 got a bit of a boost in the second half with the return of Brett Levis and Chris Serban from injuries but it was not their evening, as they were reduced to 10 men in the dying minutes after Myer Bevan was sent off with a straight red card.
Sounders FC 2 opened the scoring in the 21st minute, following an acrobatic diving save by WFC2 goalkeeper Spencer Richey on Mathers’ direct free kick.
