The Whitecaps will clear up roster spots by sending both players back to their previous clubs.
The Vancouver Whitecaps will free up two roster spots by sending Jordan Smith and Deybi Flores back to the clubs they came from.
Smith's loan to the 'Caps expires at the end of this year and the purchase option will not be picked up. According to TDMas Smith will be returning to his former team, Saprissa, in Costa Rica.
Flores will be loaned back to his former team, CD Motagua of the Honduran Liga Nacional.
