Canada Soccer announced on Tuesday that seven players from the Whitecaps FC Girls Elite REX program, in partnership with BC Soccer, have been called up to a National EXCEL U-14 to U-17 development camp in Vaughan, ON.
Among the players called up by National EXCEL director Bev Priestman are defenders Ashley Cathro, Reese Moffatt, and Emma Regan, midfielders Julia Grosso and Caitlin Shaw, and strikers Jordyn Huitema and Camila Gomez.
Priestman has brought 24 players into camp, as she prepares to select the team that will represent Canada at the 2016 CONCACAF Under-17 Women's Championship taking place in Grenada March 3 to 13.
