A frustrating, hot-and-cold performance for the Caps in their first game back makes it hard to do our trademark report card. A few strong individual performances from the 3-1 loss to Real Salt Lake perhaps mask the fact that the team didn’t function well as a unit at all. Maxime Crepeau: 6
Crepeau had a couple stinkers before the international break but had a big stop to deny Anderson Julio early. Thought he could have done a bit better on Holt’s go-ahead goal but there were no obvious errors for Max in this one.
