PORTLAND, OREGON – Vancouver Whitecaps FC’s “last push” to the 2017 season is upon us.
And, for the fourth straight year, it’s happening in Portland.
The ‘Caps kick off the annual Timbers Preseason Tournament on Thursday against MLS expansion side Minnesota United FC (5 p.m. PT at Providence Park – watch live on whitecapsfc.com).
It’s Vancouver’s first of three preseason friendlies in Portland over the next week, leading up to the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals vs. New York Red Bulls (Leg 1: February 22 at Red Bull Arena, Leg 2: March 2 at BC Place).
