VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC confirmed today that centre back Tim Parker has been called up to the U.S. senior men’s national team for Tuesday’s friendly against New Zealand at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. (5 p.m. PT on ESPN, UniMas).
Parker was one of seven additions to Jurgen Klinsmann’s roster after a 2-0 win over Cuba on Friday, with 10 players returning to their club teams.
This is Parker’s second call-up to the senior men’s national team. He also participated in a camp early this year, but did not feature in any matches.
