VANCOUVER, BC – Goalkeeper Evan Ince will be the first to tell you how prepared the U-19 squad is for the Academy Playoffs.
“There’s really nothing else like it. Every game just feels a little bit bigger, a little bit different,” said Ince, who has committed to play for the University of Massachusetts Minutemen. “Character really shows in those games and I think that is something that is going to fair well for us in the playoffs.”
The Whitecaps FC Academy U-19s, part of the BMO Academy System, have had a strong season, finishing 2nd in the Northwest Division (13W-4L-5D +27 GD) and are ranked as the 10th seed in the upcoming Academy Playoffs to be held at the SoCal Sports Complex in Oceanside, California from June 17 to 25.
