After a recent trip to Trinidad and Tobago for some CONCACAF Champions League Action, the Vancouver Whitecaps are heading to Colorado this weekend, returning to MLS Regular Season Action.
The Whitecaps fielded a young lineup on Wednesday for the Central FC match, but the team will still be dealing with some travel fatigue. One player that should be well rested is Giles Barnes, the new Striker that’s set to make his debut against the Rapids. The Whitecaps are praying he will be able to consistently answer the call at the position, finally giving them a legitimate scorer that can compliment the talented attacking midfield the Whitecaps currently have.
