On Saturday August 25th the Vancouver Whitecaps visit Avaya Stadium to face the San Jose Earthquakes. The fixture will be the first of a home at home series with the Quakes. Both teams are coming off of ties against challenging eastern conference opponents.
The Whitecaps desperately need to take advantage of these next two matches as they’ll not face a weaker side all season. This should be an easy six points for the Caps, which might be the most worrisome thing about this pair of games. Carl Robinson has to have his team focused and ready to tear the Quakes apart.
