Joining forces: Canada, Mexico, U.S. confirm plans to bid for 2026 FIFA World Cup

CONCACAF member nations Canada, USA and Mexico have declared their intention to formally submit a unified bid to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup™. The historic unified bid, which would represent the first time that three nations would jointly host a FIFA competition, was announced by CONCACAF and Canadian Soccer Association president Victor Montagliani, U.S. Soccer Federation president Sunil Gulati, and Mexican Football Federation president Decio deMaria.

The April 10 announcement was made at One World Observatory in New York on the 102nd and top floor of the One World Trade Center, the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere.
