Canada defeated Barbados 4-0 on Monday to qualify for the knockout stages of the 2019 Concacaf U-17 Championship.
Whitecaps FC Development Squad midfielder Kam Habibullah starred with a goal and two assists, bringing his total to two goals and four assists in just two matches played. 'Caps first team midfielder Simon Colyn, who again served as team captain, also got in on the scoring, sending in a free kick that resulted in the second goal, while Whitecaps FC Academy right back Deylen Vellios assisted on Habibullah's goal.
Also starting the match was Whitecaps FC Academy centre back Gianfranco Facchineri, who wore the armband in the opening match and took over as captain following Colyn's exit.
