It was a record performance for Canada on Monday as they defeated the Cayman Islands 11-0 in their second match of qualifying for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. It was the first time that Canada's men's national team has scored 10 goals in international play.
Whitecaps FC goalkeeper Maxime Crépeau made his World Cup qualifying debut for Canada, while Lucas Cavallini subbed on in the second half to score a hat-trick.
