Canada Soccer announced on Thursday that Whitecaps FC 2 right back Kadin Chung and Whitecaps FC U-18 Residency goalkeeper Thomas Hasal have been named to Canada’s roster for the 2017 CONCACAF Men's Under-20 Championship.
Coach Rob Gale has selected 20 players for the international competition that runs February 17 to March 5 in San José, Costa Rica. Also named to the roster are Whitecaps FC Residency graduates Aymar Sigue and Dario Zanatta.
Chung, Hasal, and Sigue have been in camp with the squad for the majority of the past month in preparation for the tournament, first for a 10-day camp in Toronto and Panama, and most recently for a nine-day camp in Mexico.
