VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced on Friday that long-time club coach Bart Choufour has been named head coach of the club’s newly formed Pre-MLS Academy team, as part of the Whitecaps FC BMO Academy System.
“We are thrilled to welcome Bart back to lead our pre-academy group,” said Craig Dalrymple, Whitecaps FC player development & recruitment director. “Bart’s vast experience and knowledge of the local soccer landscape will be of great benefit to these young players entering our program.”
In addition to Choufour’s head coaching responsibilities, he will also lead the BMO Mainland Boys academy centre at SFU and this summer’s Prospects camps.
