'Caps wrap up first Northern and Kootenay Academy team residential camps hosted by TOFC

Over 80 Whitecaps FC Academy Centre players completed their first Northern and Kootenay team residential camp in Vernon this past week, in an event hosted by Thompson Okanagan FC (TOFC).

The camp included five teams (U-14, U-16, and U-18 boys, and U-14 and U-17 girls) from the Whitecaps FC Kootenay and Northern Academy Centres including players from Nelson, Cranbrook, Fernie, Prince George, the Cariboo, Terrace, Kitimat and Prince Rupert, BC. Travel buses from the Kootenays and Prince George brought the players to Vernon where they spent four days together training and playing matches as teams.

The event was hosted by TOFC of the BC Soccer Premier League (BCSPL) as part of the partnership with Whitecaps FC.
