BRADENTON, FL – Canada began their quest to qualify for the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup with a 4-0 win over Dominica on Friday at the 2018 Concacaf U-20 Championship.
Whitecaps FC players were key in the result. Four players from the club earned starts, with MLS Homegrown midfielder Michael Baldisimo and striker Theo Bair, along with goalkeeper Thomas Hasal and midfielder Noah Verhoeven from the Academy.
