Canada to face French Guiana, Costa Rica, and Honduras and 2017 Gold Cup

The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) announced today the group stage matches and complete schedule for the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup, a biennial competition featuring the top national teams and players from the region.

Canada will open the competition against debutants French Guiana (July 7 at Red Bull Arena) before taking on Costa Rica (July 11 at BBVA Compass Stadium) and Honduras (July 14 and Toyota Stadium) in the group stage of this summer's confederation championship.

The top two teams from each group and the two best third-placed teams will advance to the quarterfinals, which begin on July 19.
