This season, Whitecaps FC are teaming up with BCIT to present the Community Captains scholarship program. Community Captains recognizes teens in Vancouver who have made exemplary contributions in their communities.
The Community Captains scholarship program will recognize five student leaders this year between grades 10 to 12. Each recipient will receive a $1,000 RESP to be used for post-secondary education, as well as a Whitecaps FC match-day experience where they will be recognized for their achievement.
"Whitecaps FC are proud to partner with BCIT to support teens who are engaged with and give back to their communities," says Whitecaps FC President Bob Lenarduzzi.
