To wrap-up the 2019 Whitecaps FC Summer Camp season, 100 finalists were invited to take part in the second annual Whitecaps FC Skills Challenge finale at the National Soccer Development Centre (NSDC) in September.
Finalists were chosen based on their performance and attitude, while performing skills challenge drills which were offered at every Whitecaps FC camp this summer.
Selected players travelled in from across the nation, including parts of British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, and Nova Scotia.
The Skills Challenge Finale consisted of a final series of drills, which were performed on the same practice field that the first team train on.
