The Vancouver Canucks have a fairly decent drafting record over recent years, and have one of the better prospect pools in the league. With significant movement hoped for by Canucks fans this summer, is there a chance that some of the players that are currently on the Utica Comets’ lineup could crack the Canucks’ roster come this fall?
The Comets have had a very disappointing season by their lofty standards, with a turnover of personnel impacting on the team’s consistency and putting them 6th in the AHL’s North Division. As things stand, they are very unlikely to secure a playoff spot despite the scoring heroics of Reid Boucher, who sits 15th in scoring with 57 points in 49 games.
