The Vancouver Canucks missed the playoffs for a fourth straight season, but All-Star sniper Brock Boeser was a few bright for this rebuilding club once again.
Coming off a 29-goal and 55-point season that helped him earn a Calder Trophy nomination, Boeser tuned in a strong sophomore campaign despite missing 13 games. He tallied 26 goals and 56 points — good enough for third in team scoring.
The native of Burnsville, Minnesota kept Vancouver in the playoff race throughout most of the season, as the team endured injuries to key players throughout the year — including Alexander Edler, Elias Petterson, Brandon Sutter and Sven Baertschi.
