The Vancouver Canucks announced Saturday that they’ve signed 2018 second round pick and Moose Jaw Warriors blueliner Jett Woo to a three-year entry-level deal.
It wraps up another busy week for general manager Jim Benning. Woo’s signing comes six days after the Canucks inked fellow blueliner Quinn Hughes — their first round pick from last year’s draft — to a three-year entry-level contract as well.
Woo was taken with the 37th selection in last year’s draft, and the Winnipeg native has taken his game to another level in Moose Jaw. Woo has already registered career-highs in goals (12), and points (62), in 61 games this season.
