It may have taken a while but it has finally happened. The Vancouver Canucks have signed defenseman Jordan Subban to three-year, entry-level contract.
This ends the worry that the Canucks would not be able to get Subban signed before the June 1 deadline. Had he not signed a contract, he would been able to re-enter into the 2015 NHL Draft. He was originally selected by the Canucks in the fourth round (115th overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft.
In his fourth season with the Belleville Bulls of the OHL, Subban scored 25 goals while adding 27 assists for 52 points in 63.
