Re-signing Brock Boeser is the last major offseason task for Vancouver Canucks general manager Jim Benning, but he’s also going to have to clear out cap room to make a deal work.
According to a report from Ben Kuzma of the Vancouver Province, Ben Hankinson — Boeser’s agent –is looking at a four-year deal worth $7 million per season. The 22-year-old scored 26 goals and 56 points in 69 games last season.
The year prior, Boeser tallied 29 goals and 55 points in 62 games, earning a Calder Trophy nomination.
