Two different versions of the Vancouver Canucks have took the ice through its first five games. There was the look of a more structured, sound and faster team in its victories over the Edmonton Oilers and Ottawa Senators.
Then there was the same ‘ol squad that was being out-skated and out-played all over. A team that couldn’t score on the power play and received mediocre goaltending at best. Thus far, it’s hard to tell what kind of Canucks team you’ll see in 2017-18.
But all we know is the Canucks have to be unsatisfied with a few things in the early going.
