The Vancouver Canucks are battling some injuries right now, which has led to a couple of players being called up from the AHL’s Utica Comets.
Jayson Megna, 26, receives a call-up after tallying three points in four AHL games this year. Megna has played 54 games split between the New York Rangers and Pittsburgh Penguins. He likely fills in on the fourth line alongside Brendan Gaunce and Jack Skille.
The much more exciting news though is that Troy Stecher will be making his return to the club. The young defenseman impressed everyone in training camp and there were many fans and media members alike hoping to see the kid stick with the main club to start the year.
