The Vancouver Canucks have picked up points in six of their last seven contests, and it’s propelled them back into the Western Conference playoff race.
Vancouver’s six-game point streak came to an end on Tuesday night, when they fell 5-2 to the league-leading Tampa Bay Lightning in a heated contest. But with Brock Boeser on a tear, the Canucks have regained their early season form, and they don’t look like a team that will be in contending for a top draft pick this time around.
This group — led by a trio of young stars in Boeser, Elias Pettersson and Bo Horvat — has been tough to beat on most nights.
