The Vancouver Canucks may have lost 5-3 to the San Jose Sharks, but they finally snapped their embarrassing shutout streak — and Nikolay Golodbin had arguably his best game under head coach Travis Green.
There were a handful of positives to take away from Saturday’s game, but none of them were bigger than the effort ‘Goldy’ put on. He scored his fifth goal on the season, while tallying three shots, one hit and one blocked shot.
Unfortunately, coach Green decided that seven forwards were more worthy of the ice time, so Goldobin only played 13:30.
