There is most definitely a warm feeling of optimism growing in the hearts of Vancouver Canucks fans as we get ready for the teams 50th season. General manager, Jim Benning is coming off a grade A off-season where he proved capable of following through with his word to the public.
Benning made a goal to improve the back end and add a top six forward. He did both of those things by adding his main target in free agency — blueliner Tyler Myers — and forward J.T. Miller, who was brought in via with the Tampa Bay Lightning to play in the top six.
