There have been many changes to the make-up of this Vancouver Canucks team over the last three years.
Gone are the franchise scoring leaders, Daniel and Henrik Sedin; gone too are 2011 playoff heroes Ryan Kesler, Alex Burrows and Kevin Bieksa. But their departures have allowed for one curious statistic: ladies and gentlemen, please be upstanding for your current Vancouver Canucks scoring leader, Alex Edler.
I know, it’s ridiculous. However, by virtue of having played more than 300 games more than any other current Canuck (Edler has played 760 regular season games, trailed by Chris Tanev on 392), it is indeed Alex Edler who is this team’s current active scoring leader.
