Vancouver Canucks Make Jack Skille Signing Official

In a move that has been talked about for a few days, the Vancouver Canucks have officially signed Jack Skille to a one-year, one-way contract worth $700,000.

With Emerson Etem being claimed off waivers, the Canucks had the room they needed to get Skille signed. Skille, 29, is a veteran of over 300 games and will be this year’s Adam Cracknell. He’ll be a fourth-line guy who will be the energy guy whenever the Canucks need it. It’s a decent depth move that could pay off deeper into the NHL season.
