The Vancouver Canucks have added Nikita Tryamkin to the injury front after the big Russian defender blocked a shot in practice on Tuesday morning. After taking the pre-game skate, Tryamkin has been ruled out for Tuesday’s game against the San Jose Sharks. Reports are that his injury caused him to spend the day with both ankles wrapped around with ice bags.
Andrey Pedan has replaced his fellow Russian on the blueline. This is likely a minor day-to-day issue for Tryamkin, and the team would love for him to play in place of Pedan on the second night of a back-to-back in California.
