The Vancouver Canucks will try to maintain their hot start to the season when they visit the Detroit Red Wings tonight — their first contest in a six-game road trip.
Though the Red Wings sit third-last in the NHL with a 4-8-2 record, they have absolutely owned the Canucks throughout the years. Since Detroit moved the Eastern Conference through realignment in the 2013-14 season, they’ve taken seven of the 10 meetings against Vancouver.
But the Canucks have won two of their last three visits to Detroit, winning 4-1 last year in their first game at Little Caesars Arena.
