If the Vancouver Canucks have any remaining hope of getting into the playoffs, they’re going to have to piece together quite the win streak.
The slumping Canucks — who have dropped eight of their last 10 games — will host the unraveling Anaheim Ducks tonight. Vancouver’s long-time rivals fired head coach Randy Carlyle, with general manager Bob Murray filling in for the remainder of the year.
The Ducks have basically given up on the season, whereas the Canucks still have a chance of making the postseason. No doubt Ryan Kesler and co. would love to play spoiler in what may go down as the most disappointing season in Anaheim’s history.
