The Vancouver Canucks are in a sticky situation with the NHL’s salary cap. They have just over $3 million dollars in cap space currently and the cap won’t be going up by much. They will have to make some moves and perhaps let a few players leave in a free agency. One of those players might be Brad Richardson.
Richardson has been one of the Canucks better bottom-six players for the past two seasons. He has carried a $1.15 cap hit those years. Now, will they be able to re-sign him at around that number?
