When the Vancouver Canucks claimed forward Reid Boucher off waivers from the New Jersey Devils, it seemed like they finally did something right. The team that is struggling to score and trying to rebuild on the fly added a young offensive player for free. Definitely a good choice.
What made the claim even better — or so we thought — was that it would give the Canucks a chance to take Jayson Megna or Michael Chaput out of the lineup. So far, the two have combined for 10 posts in 28 and 33 games, respectively.
